2011 S-Works Shoes Are Here!!!

We've got a full size run of the new 2011 S-Works shoes (including the Ion/Black limited edition color) at the Sports Arena store.

Here's the Ion/Black color and the White/Black shoe:

The Ion/Black is lively in person and will definitely get you noticed:

For a more demure look, the White/Black shoe is pure understated classic Euro (mullet & tan not included):

More importantly than the aesthetics, these shoes feature a FACT 12.0 sole (making for an incredibly stiff and light shoe) along with a revised BOA system that allows for easier on the bike adjustment and allows you to adjust the pressure over the top and lower part of the foot independently.

Having always been mindful of each rider's individual biomechanical needs, the shoes offer an insole that provides a moderate level of arch support while the shoe itself has a built in varus adjustment to help knee alignment, while also giving the rider's foot a roomier toe box.

The heel is vented and the tongue has been redesigned with soft leather at the top to make it a bit comfier against the foot and to also keep if from getting askew while riding.

Come in soon to try a pair, especially if you've got your eye on the Ion/Black shoe (they're goin' fast).

Ride safe,

New Zipp 101s...in stock!

We have a set of shiny new Zipp 101s at the Sports Arena store.

So, we decided to get a real world weight of the 101 and the traditionally uber light 202 tubulars.

We weighed both wheels with their respective skewers.

First up, the 101:

and the number everyone wants to see:
